Something about a sword.
That's all I understood in this entire episode.
I think Lovejoy's daughter found it in her flat. I tends up at an auction and, coincidentally, Lovejoy himself buys it. Then he gets an offer on it from some Scottish dude. Instead of selling, Lovejoy takes it home because he figures it's worth much more.
That night, someone attempts to steal the sword from Lovejoy's house. Hijinks ensue.
Lady Jane shows up briefly but essentially has nothing to do in this episode. Tinker gets loaded, as usual. Eric acts the idiot, as usual. And Lovejoy skulks around trying to figure out the importance of the sword, even sneaking into the Scottish dude's dining hall to witness some kind of Loyal Order of Stonecutters Ceremony.
Ultimately, the episode was nearly as dull as the country of Scotland itself.
