Last John Hart As The Ranger Episode
hogwrassler11 March 2021
The Ranger and Tonto learn that criminal Hank Durgan owns a cafe in Badger City and there have been some robberies there. Lawyer Andrew Larkin suggests that the stage company mark all the bills they are carrying with a red dot. Durban robs the stage, but his henchman Jeb Parkes overhears two stage employees talking about the trap. Durgan frames Larkin's son Bob for the robbery. It looks bad. The Ranger disguises himself as a one-eyed Indian to try to fool Durgan into revealing where the stolen money is hidden. Will the trick work? This final episode of season 3 is the last one with John Hart as The Ranger. Clayton Moore returned for season 4 and the subsequent seasons. Most people prefer Moore to Hart. John Hart spoke his lines in a robot-like deadpan manner without emotion. That made it difficult to establish a personality since his character wore a mask. Moore had the just right amount of intensity which endeared him to most fans as the one and only Lone Ranger.
