Texas Draw Is A Dangerous Game
hogwrassler21 March 2021
Brother John Thorpe and his daughter Virginia homestead a piece of land and want to open an orphanage there. But nasty villain Crane Dillon and his two henchmen know there is copper on the land and they want it. Dillon tries to beat Brother John into selling but The Ranger stops that and sends the bullies packing. In town, the bullies run afoul of just arrived Doctor William Hubbard, but he proves to be a real fast draw and he sends them packing too. Hubbard wants to find and kill Thorpe for revenge. It will be up to The Ranger and Tonto to get the doctor to understand that Brother John has reformed and forget the need for vengeance. To convince him, The Ranger and Doctor Hubbard engage in a game of Texas Draw, an eye-opening contest. Marion Ross plays Virginia. This was many years before she joined the cast of "Happy Days." The ageless Christopher Dark plays Doctor Hubbard. He had a career in TV and movies from 1950-1971, but no matter what year he played a particular part, he always appeared to be around 30 years old. Christopher died in 1971 at the young age of 51 due to a heart attack. This is an outstanding episode.
