The Bells Are Ringing
hogwrassler5 May 2021
Crooked land agent Dunn learns from a book belonging to Padre Felipe that the two bells in Padre Felipe's mission are actually made of gold. But his two henchmen, Scrap and Gus, decide they want more than the 10% that Dunn offers them, so Scrap .44s him to death. The Ranger and Tonto find Dunn's body and take it to the deputy in town, but he sure acts strangely. It's a real mystery trying to figure out why Dunn was killed and what is so important about the page that was torn out of the book. Rosa Turich plays Maria. Rosa was married to her husband, Felipe Turich, for 72 years, until his death. She had a long Hollywood career, nearly always in small, often uncredited roles. Her best known role might have been on "I Love Lucy" as Carlotta in the episode, "Ricky's Old Girlfriend." This LR episode is very entertaining.
