Troop and McKay capture the outlaw Ben Moray and seek shelter at a cabin they encounter during a massive rain storm. Jack Brace and his female Indian captive Tucupita live there. Brace forces Tucupita to do all the work including handling the men's horses. Troop and Johnny try to help her but Brace forces them to stop. While serving them a meal, Tucupita tells Troop in her native tongue "many men come here but none leave alive". During the meal Moray accuses Brace of being an escaped convict "Sydney duck" from Australia. Brace takes all three men captive but Moray buys his way out. When Brace gives Moray an unloaded gun to kill Troop and Johnny after they dug their own graves, Troop seizes the chance to take his captors. Tucupita helps by shooting Brace.
