- Ed seems to sell his barbershop to a stranger in town. When more strangers come to town, the real reason they are all there becomes apparent to Troop and Johnny the next time they get a haircut.
- Troop has his hands full with a series of minor complaints. Johnny adds to the list when he comments that it seems odd Ed Caruthers sold his barbershop and left town without a word. The new owner Mr. O'Toole has a bill of sale signed by Ed. The new barber seems to be trying to drum up new business. His uncle arrives in town and deposits $5,000 to O'Toole's account. Several new men quietly arrive in town. O'Toole asks Troop and Johnny to stop by for free haircuts to encourage business. At the barbershop the officers find themselves prisoners while the bank is being robbed. Lily senses something is wrong when the banker refuses to take her deposit. One of the robbers fires at her creating a disturbance giving Troop and Johnny a chance to free themselves.—Anonymous
- The town barber is kidnapped and replaced as part of an elaborate scheme to rob the Laramie bank.
