Many years, maybe he had a strand of hair or three on his head, Telly Savalas had occasion to deliver a baby for mother Rosalind Cash when Kojak was a beat cop. The boy grew up to be Todd Davis and he's now a juvenile delinquent.
Savalas kind of blames himself for the situation, but out of that same neighborhood a local hood played by F. Murray Abraham is planning a big time jewel heist and he plans to use the kid especially because of his connection to Kojak.
I have to say that this was one of the sadder and more poignant episodes in the Kojak series with stellar performances from Telly Savalas and the guest cast. Even George Savalas as the rotund Stavros and usually the butt of his brother's barbs has a very serious scene with young Davis.
Note also that Brian Dennehy makes his debut in a small part as the store security officer.
For fans of the series this is a must.
