In the opening race, Mark runs down Stacey and collides with a large rubbish dumpster, leaving paint chips and a large scrape on the dumpster. A collision of that severity should've caused some visible damage to the Dagger DX, but the car remains in perfect condition.
When Michael puts the paint chip into KITT's analyzer, the Turbo Boost button is shown above AUTO DOOR RIGHT. At the end, when he Turbo Boost's through the goal, the Turbo Boost button is shown above EJECT LEFT.
When Michael climbs the fence to enter the racing club, the back of his blue shirt is drenched in sweat. Moments later, when he leaves the club, the back of his shirt is totally dry.
When Ms. Barstow is using a laptop, the laptop screen - which has no information despite what Ms. Barstow says - is a grey liquid crystal display. When she is using it in K.I.T.T., the display is a color display.
During the final drag race Michael is shown shifting KITT into Drive at the moment of launch. This is not how it's done. The transmission is left in D and the brakes are applied while the engine is revved using the gas pedal. When the drag race starts the brake is released. Also it appears that the other drag racers with manual transmissions were in neutral and shifted into first when the race started. Manuals start in first gear with the clutch fully depressed which is then released to launch.
When KITT is racing the red Porsche the speedometer of a Ferrari is shown.
When K.I.T.T. displays the newspaper article about the hit and run involving Stacy, some of the text is repeated. The second and third paragraphs of the article are identical. In addition, the article's third and fourth paragraphs are repeated to the right of the article.
In series 2, episode 20, "a good nights work," Jake Simpson recognises Michael's actions and movements immediately, and knows that he is Micheal Long. However, Jim Courtney, who was Michael's partner, does not recognise him until the end, and even then he does not say anything, he just gives Micheal his old badge because he reminds him of someone.
When Michael asks KITT to provide names of businesses selling Nitro Methane, his monitor is just outputting random PRINT statements of names and numbers. There are no businesses or outlets shown.
