- When Dale is ridiculed by the Arlen Gun Club for accidentally misfiring a weapon, his friends must come up with a plan to help restore Dale's self-esteem.
- Dale loses face with the Gun Club and is in danger of losing its Presidency to his new rival, "Mad Dog," recently released from prison. Wanting to help Dale regain his reputation for secret soldiering, Hank calls Dale and pretends to be "Mr. Big", and says he wants to hire Dale as a mercenary, per Dale's long-running but as-yet-never-answered ad in "Soldier of Fortune" magazine. Things go wrong when Dale's imagination runs wild, with Dale thinking "Mad Dog" is Mr. Big and trying to set him up with a drug deal. But before Dale can flee with his couch to Central America, he has to save Dale and Bill, who are being held hostage by the paranoid Mad Dog. Dale saves the day and gets the Presidency back.
