Sonny gets engaged but is jilted at the altar by his bride-to-be; Howard gets a toupee to impress an old high school girlfriend.
This is not a strong season-opener. For such a monumental event, Sonny's marriage is too rushed, and the explanation for the brides' absence is poorly written. There are only a couple of good jokes in this one. When Sonny is stood up for the second time, his pal Louie says, "It's a pity THAT'S INCREDIBLE is off the air".
The B-story is more interesting, but also too thin. Howard's toupee actually doesn't look half bad - so the reactions of the girls don't ring true. We learn that the ex-girlfriend used to call Howard "Samson".
