A fantastic episode...
AlexQuantum29 August 2006
Dr.House is being stalked by an AIDS positive man (Kalvin), who also happens to be homosexual. As the team delve into the reason behind Kalvin's sudden anaphylactic shock after he fell backwards onto a car, House attempts to get his relationship back on track with Stacy by capturing a rat which has moved into her home. Unbeknownst to Stacy, House has read her file, from her psychologists office, and is doing what he can to subtly separate Stacy and her husband Mark. This is one of my favorite house episodes, partly because of House and his wittiness, and partially because of the rat, who is named Steve McQueen by House. All in all a fantastic episode

The perfect kind of cringe
Lojcs24 March 2023
This episode is just perfect. Perfect opening, perfect introduction to the patient, perfect ending. I love House being obsessive and manipulative. I love how on one scene he wins 4d chess and on the next one he acts like a dummy and it still somehow feels natural. I love how blatant House is with his ex and how random things keep happening and make the episode so much more enjoyable. There're so many ridiculous, perfectly executed scenes that I had to pause the episode and take the cringe in every couple minutes (this is a compliment).

The actual case and how House does it is meh, but the episode more than makes up with its subplots.

"Hunting" for relationships
ines-melo1 November 2006
Warning: Spoilers
This episode,in which House is stalked by a HIV positive guy, shows many of the series relationships being developed. As an example, when House goes to Stacy's house to help her catch the rat,you can see there is a lot of "sparkle" (though they would never work out again). Another example, when Kalvin tells Cameron he was doing drugs and when he told her where the drugs were, she decided to took them to the laboratory. At night, she invites Chase to her apartment for a drink, but we know that it had a second reason. Cameron was high and she seduced Chase till he gave up and they had the "Hot Night"! Well, just to show you this, maybe this is and will be the episode with more relationships development in it.

Gay life
xredgarnetx26 August 2006
Warning: Spoilers
It's the gay life as House treats an AIDS patient whom he may have injured in a street scuffle. "Hunting" brings in one of the show's bigger name guest stars, in the form of Wings Hauser as the AIDS guy's hostile and unforgiving father. Before all is said and done, House tricks Hauser into slugging him (don't ask) while House manages to find a solution to a life-threatening problem besetting both father and son. House also helps Stacy trap a rat, in a further bid to win her back. Oh, man. Give it up, House. Stick to your prostitutes that you talk so frequently about. It may be this episode or the next, but he actually calls Cuddy a whore. More than once.
