Alf and Ailsa are left dealing with the fallout of Nico's breakdown. Ailsa's chat with Donald, where she makes some nice points about responsibility, is well-written.Lynn's outburst at Lance and Martin for their part in things is well deserved and Alf's arranging a little punishment for them is a nice moment. There are some good girls' talk bits between Lynn and Bobby, which actually makes Lynn's subtle return to sharing a room with Carly a bit of a disappointment, since we didn't get any scenes of Lynn and Bobby living together.(It's tempting to speculate that their scenes here were meant to be in their caravan but the budget wouldn't run to it.See also the way Steven sleeps with a sheet over his head so they don't need to hire Adam Willits.)
Roo's unpleasantness starts to climb up a notch, with her snapping at Lynn, although she does seem to feel bad about it afterwards. Her relationship with Alf continues to disintegrate, although her little scene chatting to Frank does provide some motivation for her attitude towards Ailsa. But Alf's challenging her to "be an adult" seems about to provoke a very undesired response...
