Action-packed show featuring A-Listers Burt Reynolds, Martin Sheen, and Bradford Dillman. A brutal fight in the garage is as good as TV fights get. Another great fight comes later in the show. Burt Reynolds used stunt doubles in his later movies, but in the "Hawk" fight scenes Reynolds does his own stunts.
Martin Sheen does a great job as distraught husband Peter Jannus, and Bradford Dillman is superb as the arrogant, confident hustler Nick Serri.
And, there is the drama of the women in Serri's life, including his wife, his girlfriend, and his Mama.
We are certain that Hawk will get his man, but watching and waiting to see if he can pull it off makes for a great episode.
