This episode was not the most powerful pick of the litter as we get a story about a slimy card dealer, Vint, that has few if any good qualities. What he has done is to let this one man named Charlie Brewer win a few hands and then he was going to hook him in by dealing the house a win each time. But Brewer has been around and brings in a gunfighter name Jack Salter to watch the cards. With the person watching Vint has to keep dealing correctly and loses a good bit of money.
Vint then seeks the help of a saloon woman, Nan Mellors, to get his money back. Nan is going to get Brewer to walk her home and Vint is rob Charlie getting back his money. With the money Vint is going to take Nan and her daughter to St Louis. But things do not go as plan plus we learn that Vint is even worse person than we ever thought.
The story was nice but really did not capture the excitement that other episode possess. There was even one questionable performance as Tom Palmer was playing the gunfighter Jack Salter. This was his first cast as the bad guy but he came across more as a subway token collector rather than a fierce man with a gun. An average rating for an average episode.
