Cute, close but no cigar

It was a cute retry of a great show. As a huge fan of G.A.M. I love the thought that they tried to redo it, BUT, it just did not hold the snap of the original series. While the woman was cute, and looked really good in the suit, she was too flighty and too obnoxious, she was more annoying than foil to Maxwell. I know what they were going for, I just do not think they captured it. Had the show aired and progressed maybe it would have improved, but it just goes to show that you shouldn't rehash a show unless you have the same caliber of actors and writers. I also felt cheapened by the way Ralph had to give up the suit, it seemed like a cop out. It was emotional, but it seemed like the show ended there, then they went to the goofy girl. I am glad that I saw it, it gave some closure, but unless you are a die hard fan, it is almost passable.
