Great Move to go with Bob Saget
Jamiec52322 November 2006
I have always loved Full House because of how great the actors fit their characters and how great they were with each other. However in this Pilot that never made Television, I found they made a mistake by considering John Posey for the character of Danny Tanner. Nothing against John Posey but I found through the whole episode that he did not fit the character and back then not a great actor. I believe Full House was a great success by switching to Bob Saget. I also felt that this pilot was quite rushed. other than those things this is still one of the greatest shows in the world! I recommend everyone to buy all the DVD sets to watch all the great episodes that the Full House series has to offer. Trust me when I say, you will not be disappointed. Everyone in your family will enjoy it, and I mean EVERYONE!

No Bob Saget

The unaired pilot is the same as the first episode, Danny is not played by Bob Saget. Perhaps if John Posey had been Danny Tanner it would have been okay, but nobody can replace him!

All the other characters are the same. The script seems to be the same. I'm guessing the directors and producers didn't care for John Posey's Danny Tanner, or maybe there's some other reason they decided to go with Bob Saget? In any means, I'm just glad Bob Saget got this part! He was excellent.

But I am happy they put this unaired pilot on the DVD set. If they hadn't, I would have always wondered!
