Danny is leaving for his first overnight trip since Pam dies. He leaves lots of instructions with Joey and Jesse and expects the girls to be good. Since Jesse and Joey are still pretty green at parenting, D. J. feels she can get away with ditching school to go get a signed autograph. After all, Kimmie is skipping! Her dad tells her no, but she comes up with a plan.
Instead of punishing her, the boys tell her how disappointed in her but don't want Danny to know about this since he won't trust them anymore. Stephanie comes home and blabs the whole thing and not only gets D. J. into trouble (though I never saw her punished, just 'talked' to), but also got the boys into trouble.
I've noticed that Danny does a lot of lecturing but not a lot of punishment. The kids turned out great like this, but I still thing taking away privileges should have happened in several cases.
