- Carla: If a woman doesn't want a man to kiss her, then he shouldn't try. But if she does, then he should know it.
- Dr. Richard Kimble: Well, I think Miguel will learn that.
- Vardez: Parker, you like my daughter Carla pretty good, huh?
- Dr. Richard Kimble: She's a beautiful girl, Joe.
- Vardez: She's only just 15 years old. No mama to watch out for her.
- Dr. Richard Kimble: She does need a woman's advice.
- Dr. Davis: 5:00. 6:00 tomorrow morning and I've got to let them take you. That's when the quarantine is over. 13 hours and you had it, Doctor.
- Dr. Davis: You've a very Freudian personality. I mean, you knew you were going to be caught here.
- Dr. Richard Kimble: In the quarantine, yes.
- Dr. Davis: Now I would have been long gone.
- Dr. Richard Kimble: I don't think you would, Doctor.
- Dr. Davis: If I knew I'd kill somebody?
- [Kimble frowns]
- Dr. Davis: It's an interesting puzzle. Hmmm. Is he trying to atone for taking a life by saving others? Or is he proven innocent by innocent faith and outcome? What kind of grades did you get in abnormal psych?
- Officer Chrisman: Well you may have lost your tuna, Mr. Vardez, but you caught yourself a shark. You turned out to be a pretty good detective.
- Vardez: You mean Jeff Parker? Oh you took his fingerprints, huh?
