Will is appalled that Ashley has never experienced a big traditional family Christmas so he takes it upon himself to decorate that house the way he and his mother use to be in Philly. Aunt Viv leaves the job to Will, who goes out and buys every tacky decoration he can find, which upsets the Banks' stuffy neighbors. The neighbor's response puts Ashley in a bad mood until a group of underprivileged kids show up at the door to sing Christmas carols - and who love the lights. Ashley's spirits are lifted, and she demands that the lights stay up.
