Martin's love and attachment for his chair because it's filled with heartfelt family memories and moments he wants to cherish, is coincidentally similar to another TV Icon's love for his chair, Archie Bunker from All in the Family. In a similar episode, Archie's chair while being repaired is mistakenly given to an artist for a museum. In an attempt to keep the chair for an art exhibit, Archie gets offered a ridiculous amount of money for it which he turns down because of all the life memories he's made while sitting in that chair. That same chair now sits in the Smithsonian in Washington DC.
When Frasier agrees to fill in for the role of Dr. Armstrong in "Ten Little Indians," he complains that it's been so long since he played the part that he can hardly remember the lines. Mrs. Warren replies, "Then you'll fit right in." These are the exact same words that end Season 11's "The Doctor is Out." Frasier's "love interest"--Alistair Burke--has asked Frasier to stay for the after-party party following opening night of his "La Boheme." Frasier agrees and then finds out that this means sitting in a hot tub with Alistair and some other gay men. When Frasier mentions that he doesn't have a bathing suit, Alistair responds with a smile: "Then you'll fit right in."
