The convent has promised to take the kids to the Feast of Saint Anthony carnival, but their station wagon fails to start. Reverend Mother Placido reluctantly approves for Sister Bertrille to buy an upgrade. From Money Back Hernando (character actor Gino Conforti, "Three's Company") she is given a station wagon that turns out to be a clunker. It breaks down on her near where Carlos is having a romantic picnic and he lets her borrow his station wagon. When the convent's hot water tank bursts, Sister Jacqueline unknowingly takes Carlos' vehicle back to pay for a new tank. The shifty used car dealer is making a profit and refuses to sell it back to Sister Bertrille for less than $1,500. Carlos plots to out scheme the schemer.
