The convent receives a $5000 check as a donation. On the way to the bank to deposit the check, the wind takes hold, and the check is damaged. Antics ensue when the sisters try to replace the check.

Reverend Mother Placido has left behind her speaking notes for an educational seminar in St. Thomas. When Carlos refuses to fly her, Sister Bertrille uses her flying abilities and a compass to try and reach St. Thomas. Without navigation skills and depleted wind she lands on a small island occupied by mobsters reorganizing their gambling rackets. She is seen flying in by one of them, Talc Edwards (character actor/director Noam Pitlik), who thinks she is a saint sent to save them from their sinning ways. They're soon singing "Bringing in the Sheaves" with a rift forming between those reformed and those wishing to continue their illegal operations. Sister Bertrille accidentally switches the speaking notes with the organization's gambling financial sheet, leading to a confrontation.
