The song Tom Jones sang was "Here's to the maiden of bashful fifteen".
Richard "Dick" Turpin (bap. 1705 - 7 April 1739) was an English highwayman whose exploits were romanticized following his execution in York for horse theft. Turpin may have followed his father's trade as a butcher early in life, but, by the early 1730s, he had joined a gang of deer thieves and, later, became a poacher, burglar, horse thief and killer.
Carol Lynley and Adam West also played husband and wife in Season 4 Episode 1 ("The Devil and Mandy Breem"). They play completely different characters in this episode.
The scene location in which Frank (Adam West) is talking to his wife Sheila (Carol Linley) on the pedestrian bridge overlooking the pond was also used in the pilot of The Greatest American Hero where Ralph (William Katt) picked up Pam's (Connie Sellecca) car with Bill (Robert Culp) inside to demonstrate that he had superpowers from the suit.
