Even for bank robbers, these guys are real jerks!

The story begins with three bandits killing two of three bank robbers and leaving the third for dead after jumping them and stealing the stolen money. The badly injured one isn't able to give Erskine a lot of help, though his lead sets the FBI on course to capture one of the killers. The other two have gone out west, planning on robbing a small bank at the end of the grape harvest...as they'll be keeping a lot of cash on hand to pay the migrant workers. The problem is one of the killers has just fallen in love...and he is ready to back out of the planned robbery.

This is another good, somewhat typical episodes of this excellent series. The acting, direction and writing are all very good here....plus it was interesting seeing Napa/Sonoma wine country long before it took off and became big in the 1970s-80s. My only complaint, and its a minor one, is that the familiar actress, Diane Baker, plays a Hispanic-American...and it looks as if they either sprayed her with body paint to make her look more ethnic or she spent a lot of time tanning. My bet is the first. She was just fine, but odd that they didn't choose someone more appropriate for the role.
