Gerald Wilson...a man with serious issues.
planktonrules31 January 2021
In this installment of "The F.B.I.", the Bureau is called into a case after an FBI agent and a local deputy are shot while trying to arrest a man for parole violation. Jack Collins (Burr DeBenning) had not reported to his p.o. and had left the state. However, what the officers didn't realize is that Collins' partner, Gerald Wilson (Robert Duvall) was in the kitchen....and Wilson shoots both of the men trying to arrest Collins.

While I normally wouldn't say the disposition of the FBI agent, after this intro, the screen does what it usually does...flashes the crimes for which the men are wanted. It said murder of a federal agent....so there isn't much suspense there. As a result, Collins is placed on the Ten Most Wanted list...a list on which Wilson already resides.

During the rest of the episode, Collins and his pretty wife go from partners in crime with Wilson to his kidnap victims. Mrs. Collins must help...of Wilson plans on killing her. The same goes for the husband. What's next? See the program.

This is a well written, no-nonsense episode...tightly written and rather high on realism. Well worth seeing...especially to see Duvall playing a very scary and cold character.
