Good adaptation of a brilliant play 6.5/10

Warning: Spoilers
Antonio Buero Vallejo's "La fundación" (which this movie is based on) have one of the most powerful plots about reality and human perception. This adaptation is not as good as it could be, acting is average, and the scenery is a bit simple, but the film delivers the outstanding plot correctly.

Tomás is a man who lives very happy in a foundation for advanced minds, but in fact he lives in jail and what he sees is a esquizophrenic hallucination, so his friends will help him to see the real truth of his captivity. The importance of the scenery details like telephones, seats, or tables is crucial and gives the viewer doubts about what their eyes are seeing.

So if you want a mind-blowing film of the pre-matrix era this is a must see.
