Roy's car is a Porsche 356C Cabriolet, manufactured between 1963 and 1965. Considered a collector's item, the 356-series Porsche was the first model made by the company, when it was founded in Austria, in 1948; Porsche then relocated to Germany in 1950. In all, 76,313 356-series automobiles were built during its run, 16,678 of them the 356C. After the 356 ended its run, it was replaced by the now-venerable 911/912-series.
Johnny's 4x4, (the term "SUV" hadn't yet been coined) is a Land Rover series IIA produced from 1961 to 1971 and is considered widely as the best model ever produced. In 1960's Australia, It held 90 percent of the 4x4 market. The same feat was duplicated in many African countries as well as the Middle East.
