This is a very eventful episode. We go back to where the previous season started with Chen, Pratt and a patient being shot at by an angry driver. It is done very well, they made it even more scary by having their car fall into the river, as somebody who is afraid of water them being stuck in the sinking car really added more dramatic effect for me.
It is great to see Abby changing her position from nurse to a doctor. We also see her have some struggle with it since as a nurse she is more used to be there for her patients and yet she is not able to follow the request of a dying man to be there with his as she is busy with other patients.
It seems Neela and Sam will be staying with the hospital while Carter might lose his love. It feels pretty bad for him by going from having a family with a girlfriend and a baby to come to losing the child and now even be left alone by her.
And the great thing is that Weaver got her son back, although I feel they could have explained it better on what caused the change of heart of her in laws
