Laura has decided to write a children's story and although Rob SAYS he isn't interested in being involved, soon it's obvious he wants to take control of the story and make it his way. Laura naturally feels hurt and eventually Rob and Laura ask Buddy and Sally to listen to both stories and tell them which they like best. Unfortunately, Rob acts like a jerk during this process and after their friends judge. And, ultimately, they give the story to a professional who publishes kids' books to read to get their opinion.
This episode makes Rob seem petty and a bit mean. Instead of encouraging Laura, he seems to want to one up her. To me, this wasn't a great episode because of this. Overall, a decent installment but not among the show's best.
