- Dharma wants to give Abby and Larry the wedding of their dreams, but it turns out to be a nightmare. Greg helps Larry get a birth certificate so he can get a marriage license, and he gets back into being a lawyer.
- Larry and Aby finally decide to get married, and Dharama offers to throw a 'simple' party. Abby's ideas about romantically ideal ceremonies are as frustratingly inconstant as some are bordering on impossible. Larry's obsession with big brother requires Greg's help to prove he exists legally and prevent the wedding making him traceable. Meanwhile Greg's search for himself brought him back to practicing law, but in secret so Dharma shouldn't find out.—KGF Vissers
- Abby and Larry (Alan Rachins) decide to make it official after thirty years of unwed bliss, provided they can get Kenny Loggins to sing at the ceremony. The day is the 30th anniversary of when they first met. The date is a week from Tuesday and Dharma decides to organize their wedding for them. Greg advises against it, but Dharma is adamant. Soon, the food has to be vegan, kosher for some, guests riding in on horseback on the beach and the complications pile on. Abby and Larry want to emerge from the ocean like citizens of Atlantis.
Abby and Larry are registered for gifts at the local erotic toys store. Kitty and Edward walk into the store while Abby and Larry are there and learn that they are getting married. Meanwhile Edward challenges Larry that he couldn't score with anyone other than Abby, despite him claiming that he is in an open relationship with her. Larry and Abby decide to give condoms to the wedding guests with pictures of them printed on the cover. Dharma also builds fertility pinata as she did not want the guests to hit a paper machete donkey with sticks.
Larry & Abby decide to marry but are still busy sabotaging the ceremony that Dharma is planning. They want the wedding to be at sunrise on the beach and that is physically impossible on the west coast.
Also, turns our Larry has no ID and wants Greg to get him one. Larry has no social security number, no driver's license or even a library card as he wanted to be totally off the grid. Larry cannot get a marriage license without an ID. Larry has no birth certificate either. Turns out Larry's real name is Myron; Lawrence is his middle name.
Greg comes full circle on his search for tranquility a part-time resident of the local park comes to him with a legal problem. Greg starts helping poor people to settle cases. The man and his monkeys are being evicted from their apartment by the landlord for no good reason. Greg wants to hide this from Dharma as he feels that she will be disappointed that he is practicing law again.
Dharma scouts all of SFO at 3 am to find the perfect location for their wedding. Dharma somehow gets Kenny Loggins to play at Abby's wedding, but when she does, Abby says she is not sure as everyone would be looking at Kenny while she walks down the aisle. Dharma even over-rules Kitty to participate in the ceremony.
Dharma is angry & confronts them, when Larry brings a date home a day before the wedding. Dharma walks away and tells them that they are on their own. She says that all the while she was growing up, she always wondering if there would be a day when her parents would choose not to be together. Dharma meets Greg at the park and says that she knows that Greg is practicing law again. She is OK with it as now Greg knows that this is his one true path. He is meant to be a lawyer.
Larry and Abby fall in line & have a lovely wedding.
