"The Hired Assassin" starts off very well and together with a strong ending make for an excellent installment of "Danger Man"--perhaps the best. It begins in some Latin American nation. Drake is avoiding the cops in a night club and one of the workers hides him. However, after the police leave, you realize that it was all a put-on--the police and Drake are working together in order to help him make contact with the rebels. This is because the rebels are very cut-throat and are planning on assassinating the president of this nation. And, since these folks think that Drake is a world-famous assassin, they naturally want him to join in with their conspiracy. How does Drake manage to NOT kill the man AND capture these thugs? See the show.
I liked the set-up for this show as well as the ending. For once, Drake is shot--adding a bit of realism. There really isn't much NOT to like about this one.
