When the Germans begin to bomb and strafe the town after Saunders leaves the ambulance, the driver of the ambulance runs it into the side of a building. The camera switches to a medium shot and the ambulance is free of the building and stopped in the street. But when Saunders approaches the ambulance after the bombing has halted, it is again embedded in the side of the building.
Two Germans see the American vehicles going by. The one wearing gloves calls in a report, holding the radio phone in his right hand. As he's reporting the vehicles heading toward the town of Orre, the camera cuts to him circling the name of the town with a pencil in his right hand. The camera changes back and he still has the phone to his ear, he puts it down, then picks up the pencil.
As planes are bombing the town, we see trucks explode from within, rather than as if hit by falling bombs.

After the German soldiers push the ambulance out of the mud hole Saunders opens up on them with his Thompson killing all of the men who were pushing the truck. The only person he didn't bother to shoot was the one driving. He could have just driven away in the truck at that point.
Saunders shoots the German soldiers after they pushed the ambulance out of the muddy hole that the truck was stuck in. He sprayed at least one entire magazine of .45 ACP ammunition at the German soldiers in order take them all down. Afterwards there is no apparent sign of any of those rounds having impacted on, or having caused any damage to, the ambulance.
With a wounded leg, Saunders has to walk at least a few miles, on his own, to the aid station. In other episodes, men are more seriously wounded have to stay with the squad and continue to fight, or go on to their next mission.
Saunders, Captain August, Jones and Lieutenant Hunter are hold up in a barn during the storm. Lieutenant Hunter brings Saunders a canteen cup of coffee. It did not appear that her, Jones or Captain August had any provisions and yet they were able to make coffee.
In this episode Sgt Saunders identified himself as member of K/361st Infantry Regiment. Although the series depicts the Normandy campaign, the 361st fought as part of the 85th Division in Italy, not in Normandy.
After the American ambulance gets stuck in mud, Saunders and the others take cover overnight in a barn. In the morning, some Germans find the ambulance, start it and try getting it out of the mud without first checking the building to see if there are any Americans, or anyone else, in there.
After the Germans get the ambulance out of the mud, Saunders immediately shoots them all without looking to see if there are other Germans.
When Saunders gets wounded, he reacts as if he's hit in the head, or upper body. But he is grazed in the leg.
The squad walks up a hill toward a machine gun emplacement. Although no one is shooting at them, they don't know what they will find and the squad walks right up in front of the gun, instead of off to the sides until they know the situation.
