This show clearly highlights the skiing abilities of Pierre Jalbert who was a junior ski champion and captain of the 1948 Canadian Olympic Ski Team prior to breaking his leg. Though an impressive display of his capabilities, it casts doubt on his character's back story of being a Cajun from the Louisiana Bayou. It seems dubious that a Louisiana native would be so masterful at skiing on snow.
When the Germans realize that Saunders and his men have escaped, they only find the tracks of one man in the snow. Throughout the chase sequence, only one set of tracks is visible.
