Gaslight
Bethel Leslie plays one of Sebastian Cabot's psychological clients in this Checkmate episode. Leslie's spent some months in an asylum and still Cabot thinks her grip on reality isn't too good. Neither does her husband Robert Lansing.
At one time Leslie had herself a boyfriend in John Bryant and who could blame her because Lansing's one hard and mean man. Bryant has disappeared, but Leslie still sees signs of him or is it one vivid imagination.
I won't go any farther, but those of you who are fans of the old Ingrid Bergman classic Gaslight will know exactly what is going on. It's a nice turn of events for this story. A bit of the old Humphrey Bogart film Conflict thrown in for good measure.
