The Checkmate team gets a judge for a client. James Gregory who as a judge condemned Larry Kert to the gas chamber is being threatened as the hour of Kert's execution approaches. It's fairly obvious from the beginning that Kert's brother David Garcia is behind it and he reveals himself soon enough.
But I have to say the reasons are compelling. Judge Gregory is hiding some deep dark secrets. Let's say he committed far more than just ethical violations. And at the end when you think all is revealed you find out it isn't.
