This episode marks the first time that any of the Angels have been shot. In fact, the only Angel to have been suffered any sort of gunshot wound was Kelly.
The beach house used as Jill/Chris' home during the series was also used in Mod Squad (1968) Cricket (1971). This is a near word for word remake of "Cricket" and was written by the same person.
Much as it happened with Bewitched, this show would borrow from its own previous titles to create new storylines. This one will be revisited much later, both with Let Our Angel Live (1981), the finale---when the same angel, Kelly, is once again shot in the head---and also with To See an Angel Die (1980), where a fairy tale voice-over (as told by Kelly here, and told to Kris in that one) will play an important "treasure hunt" part in both denouements.
The young girl, in the red Mustang convertible, who stopped to pick up Skip and take him to the beach was wearing a Starsky and Hutch (1975) T-shirt (another ABC network TV series).
