Kelly and Kris both scoff at the notion that Tiffany could possibly be a psychic. Yet, in Haunted Angels (1978), Kris is infatuated with a psychic, who accurately "reads" her, including seeing her in a uniform, with a gun. And Kelly witnesses a ghost manifesting by blowing up a TV set, shaking a chandelier and making framed pictures fall off the wall. Yet here, when Erica shares that Tiffany had strong ESP abilities, because they do not believe in the paranormal, Kris and Kelly both roll their eyes and glance at each other with understanding looks that are meant to mock Tiffany's esoteric gifts.
As the driverless Mercedes rolls toward Tiffany and Erica, its speedometer first reads "0" (zero) MPH while actually on the move.
The photo of Madeline in the newspaper article announcing her engagement shows a woman whose hairstyle and makeup are of the late 1970s, not someone who was killed "nearly 20 years ago" as stated in the show. She would have had to have been married in the late-'50s or very early-'60s.
Freeze-frame close-up on the deceased wife in her wheelchair. Camera cut in next frame clearly shows the (different) face of the stuntwoman---and for several seconds, at that.
When Tiffany sits down for tea with Mr. Craig in the kitchen, he grabs a silver teapot. To polish it, he proceeds to spit on it, right in front of the angel, then grabs a cloth and rubs the spit in. This bizarre situation is a rather comical bit. Whether written in the script (doubtful) or improvised, spur of the moment, by the actor, Shelley Hack must have pretended not to see anything, as her Tiffany didn't bat an eyelash and she simply carried on with the scene.
At the end, Kris scoffs at Tiffany for thanking Madeleine's ghost; she tells her that there had to be "a logical explanation for everything that's happened". But Kris had herself witnessed the chandelier and the bed violently shaking, the window repeatedly opening itself after being locked by her, and the secret passageway door also bolting open just for her---among other paranormal occurrences. In the end, she does concede, and joins Tiffany in thanking Madeleine.
Tiffany tells Kris and Kelly that Madeline was "Cliff's ex-wife" but they didn't divorce - she was killed.
The one time Cliff's previous wife's name is shown (in the newspaper clipping), her given name is spelled Madeleine. In the end credits, it is spelled Madeline.
