Don Kirshner, the music consultant for this episode, was best known for managing songwriting talent as well as successful pop groups, such as The Monkees (1965) and for producing and hosting his own syndicated weekly rock-concert program called Rock Concert (1973).
Darrin complains of back pain as a result of sleeping on an airport bench. Dick York, would later give up the role of Darrin, and eventually retire from acting, in large part due to his own chronic back pain in real life.
The final scene in their bedroom shows Samantha and Darrin switching their usual sides of the bed.
