And we get the most hilarious lines from the entire show this episode, because out of nowhere both Bruce Wayne and Terry Mcginnis start talking gibberish due to Shriek's ability to manipulate sound. It happens more than once and is equally confusing every time, but in a good way.
That aspect of this encounter with Shriek makes him one of the villainous characters to occur more than once in Batman Beyond, and while he is one of the better, I wouldn't consider him my favourite, but that is rather a problem with how the show was written.
Aside from the hilarity of the spoken gibberish the man behind it was pretty predictable, but a serviceable amount of research was put into it from more than just Batman old and new to elevate it from average.
