  Dr. Corso : Yeah. It was our song.

  Batman : Any idea where they're keeping her?

  Dr. Corso : None.

  Batman : I can understand how you feel, but to let those monsters loose... there's no way to stop 'em.

  Dr. Corso : Oh, yes, there is. I slipped fail-safe devices into all four of them. Once I get April back, I'm going to activate them. With relish.

  Batman : Fail-safe devices? How would you get close enough to switch 'em on?

  Dr. Corso : They're not activated by switches.

  Batman : What, then?

  Dr. Corso : I'm not gonna tell you. I don't want you risking April's life in some crazy rescue attempt.

• Dr. Corso : They're gonna kill her now. They're gonna kill her.

  Batman : Who? Who are they gonna kill?

  Dr. Corso : My wife. It's the truth! Why else do you think I'd be helping those punks?

  Batman : [taking a photograph]  This her?

  Dr. Corso : Yes. April. April changed my whole life. Have you ever met anyone like that?

• Dr. Corso : I figured you'd try this. That's why I followed you from the hotel. I didn't believe for a second you'd really run from them like that. It was just a trick so you could tail them and find April.

  Batman : Looks like it's working so far, doesn't it?

• Dr. Corso : What's this?
