Dietrich tells him that gold is one of the heaviest metals because of "its dense molecular structure." Dietrich, of all people, should know that gold is an element, and is not composed of molecules- which are a combination of elements.

Doris Roberts and Peter Hobbs
"The Sighting" begins with Wojo's latest excuse for being tardy, spotting a cigar-shaped flying saucer over Staten Island. Capt. Donnelly (Jack Bannon) of the Air Force believes Wojo is just another crackpot, until corroborating evidence comes in from several Jersey residents, proclaiming the sighting to be nothing more than a weather balloon. Doris Roberts (second of four) plays Harriet Brauer, who wants her husband Phillip (Peter Hobbs, third of six) arrested for exchanging all their assets into gold. After careful deliberation, Harriet settles for getting her furniture back, while Harris buys one doubloon for $250 (Dietrich: "that's easy to count!"). Hobbs and Roberts would return as the Brauers in both "Wojo's Girl" and "Agent Orange."
