Well, don't worry, you'll find here all the ingredients worth for a Baretta episode: mobsters, a witness to protect. And for once the gangsters are shown here in the GOOD FELLAS way, see what I mean? In a realistic, or at least a sort of Marty Scorcese way. See for instance how the mob leader, in the restaurant, tries to reason the new comer in his gang...I always felt ready to see a Joe Pesci like character any time during this episode. One moving sequence, when Baretta tries to help his colleague, the black cop, by talking to him. The murder suspect to be shot by the mob is so disgusting, especially in the way he let a girl friend of his use his car and explode in his place without any remorse, that you almost wish him to be thrown into the river with cement boots. Even his own mother doesn't care of him any more...Convincing performances. Good episode with unusual situations.
