Terrific action packed opening scene, at night, in the street, where Baretta catches a drug dealer who tried to escape in his car. But appears that the "dealer" was actually an undercover fed. A federal agent - FBI. But Baretta insists that the "fed" carried money and dop. So was he a crooked cop or really an undercover agent? But there is a problem, two bystanders, two junkies, the clients of the "dealer", who also realize that the guy was a cop, but who don't realize that they can be a potential threat for him. You see, no one has to know - except Baretta - that the "dealer" is an undercover. Especially the underworld. I have never seen such an interesting scheme, even in a film. At least, since a very long time. Splendidly directed by the prolific TV vet Don Medford.
