Aunt Bee's first name Is Beatrice, and women named Beatrice often shorten that to Bea. An example of this is actress Bea Benaderet, who played the mother on "Petticoat Junction." Yet Aunt Bee doesn't spell it as "Bea," she spells it as "Bee," like the insect. This is formalized on the sign seen outside her new Chinese restaurant in this episode, where it is clearly spelled "Bee."
Bee confesses to Andy on the couch that "Chinatown" had always been her favorite song. It must've been Francis Bavier's favorite too; she sings, hums, or plays it off and on throughout the whole series.
