Halloween Festivities

Wednesday goes trick or treating and a neighbor tells her there are no witches.

One of the best of Season 2. It starts with some funny Halloween games, Gomez and Fester do some apple bobbing on a see-saw. Morticia and Gomez try to reassure Wednesday there are witches. They have a séance to contact Aunt Singe who was burned as a witch at Salem. Grandmama convinces Lurch to pretend to be the voice of Aunt Singe. This is the funniest scene as Lurch tries out a high pitched voice; A very funny final gag involving Grandmama on the roof.

Another dumb episode

This is a Halloween episode, from a family which seems to celebrate Halloween all year round. Note that Pugsley doesn't appear in this episode. I don't necessarily need to see Pugsley. There was just no logical reason that he shouldn't have been included in the family's activities. Well, if they could only afford to have one of the kids, Wednesday was the better choice. At least, she was cute. The whole premise of the family wanting to contact Aunt Singe was so dumb. Instead of having Lurch pretend to be the aunt, why not have the old bat grandmother do the voice? Only the guest stars added a little spark to this episode. Nothing really resonated.
