A man people trust
bkoganbing23 February 2017
Restaurant owner and noted gambler Adam West is hanging around with some shady characters and his wife calls on his old war buddy Roger Smith to help him out. The wife is played by the as yet unknown Mary Tyler Moore.

West is involved with syndicate bigshot Sam Buffinton who is under an alias, but one look by Roger Smith and he knows who it is. There's also a couple of wise guys Brad Dexter and Ben Welden who are out to rip everybody off.

At the end of the day the LAPD is glad to have the help of Bailey&Spencer as Byron Keith gets a very large bust with some heavy duty charges.

As for how West gets out of the jackpot. Let's just say it's good to be a man people trust.

Pretty cool episode

Yes, yes, yes, pretty cool to have here Adam West and Brad Dexter. One as a Jeff's former war buddy and the second as a gangster whom the first is involved with. I won't repeat the topic already explained above, but here you can trust me, you deal with an efficient piece of work, a true crime scheme, sharp and noir as I love. West is perfect as Jeff's friend asking for help against the mob. Adam West, as a good looking gambler, has just the perfect character. But on the other hand, don't expect a dark and brutal flick; it remains a little light, cool. And I also appreciated the character whose name is Borgia...

In summary, a cool episode.
