Not Bad

Great, easy viewing but just not as good as the first. Stand alone, it's great but of course we are going to look back at the original to compare. I wish they didn't change the actors either, it always confuses me when they do that in programs, but if you don't mind I'm sure it'll not be a big deal. I've watched this a few times and I'm sure I will watch it more.

When you're in a hole stop digging

Here we see best mates Rob and Dave with their significant others, as they embark on their next adventure together a Treasure Hunt.

Their pensioner neighbours Grace and Maurice Stringer have a new addition to their household, the mother in law Elsie.

The they are all regular participants in an event that appears, to be somewhat of an annual outing.

This year however turned out to rather more eventful for all concerned, much more so than any of them ever bargained for.

Normally these events are supposedly for fun and enjoyment a chance, to leave your workaday world behind you.

But Dave Bolton is so desperate to gain a prestigious contract, he invites the truly execrable Marcus Foster to join the Team.

Clive and Ruth Rainer have had to move away from the area, presumably after his business went belly up. Their spoilt daughter Chloe, however remains in the neighbourhood.

This is brilliant. Booze Cruise 2. Now a good deal of the time sequels are not very good (pointing it politely) but this is. BC2 takes the characters from BC1 and gives them something totally new to do. Nothing repetitive in it, all fresh ideas (and a couple of fresh faces). This maybe a spoiler but ill outline it. They are all off on a Treasure Hunt and nothing ever goes to plan. Pretty much like the first one. There are a few loose ends that could have been tied up but hey, leave them for another sequel. The jokes and gags of Neil Person are so schoolboy you would be hard pushed not to laugh at him and poor Brian Murphy on the receiving end all the time from everyone. This is a must. A mixture of British comedy and drama all in one. Now i got it on DVD, i cant stop watching this nor the other two.
