Sex & Nudity

- There is a scene where MDC is in a hotel room listening to the sound of two gay men having a sexual romp in the room next to his. Nothing is seen and nothing graphic is heard, just the sound of banging and some muffled moaning is audible.
- There is a brief scene where MDC is looking at an erotic magazine photo spread of a partially nude woman -- only her bare breasts are visible.
- There is another scene, about two minutes or so long where Jared Leto's character calls for a prostitute to come to his room. She strips, and we briefly see her buttocks and bare breasts, however sex is only implied as the scene cuts to the "morning after".
Violence & Gore

- There isn't particularly violence, per se, but at the very close of the film, MDC shoots John Lennon while facing the camera. There is nothing shown at all except for MDC's blank expression. A scream by a woman -- most likely that of Yoko Ono -- is heard.

- The scene which closes the film shows MDC going slowly insane on the dark streets in New York City, and then proceeds to shoot John Lennon when he returns to the Dakota. This scene may be frightening for some younger viewers, as he becomes increasingly unpredictable onscreen.
