no way!

Really Karmma was a finished "Karmma".

I had more expectations when I spent money for having a good time at the cinema, but everything was a big disappointment. A poor plot, overacting, and a very disastrous ending.

I agree with some comments the beginning was excellent, but minute per minute, the emotion was going down. Some scenes had no sense and as many Colombian films, slowing. When I knew about the plot of the movie, I thought it'd have more action, but it was absent. I think that whether the film had had more extras, for example more guerrilla-army extras, and a little more action, may be, it would have been much better. It really show us the very low budget they had for this movie.

Boring and stupid

Warning: Spoilers
Well, I believe the screenplay of this movie was so bad developed (sp?), its acting was lame and it's plot was so confusing. In fact it starts very good, but from minute 15 to the end, its a very boring movie. Don't watch it and save your money.

One of the stupid facts about this is: if Santiago was in a car looking for his father, why didn't they return in it when he found him, instead of Santiago carrying that old man a whole day all the way to La Diana? Also I didn't like how Luz Stella Luengas overreacted her whole character, specially in the part when she loses control and starts screaming at everybody.

If I ever do a movie like this, please kill me.

excellent, clever

a real history, narrated in an impressive way. Accomplish a clever script and accompany it with great sound and visual aspects of film making, every part with its perfect timing, moment and sense.

Movie is made around a Kidnapping but not a common one. It starts with a normal family reunion in a farm presenting main characters, showing us a first glance of their sins. While movie advances give us more pieces and behaviors of characters making clear that the sins are the capital ones and its nature in a Daily environment.

Finally during the movie a lot of clever unexpected turn around are present maintaining attention and all senses in it.

Excellent

Very well-made movie. Amazing direction and photography. First of all everyone who wants to write on this page.please learn about film-making before giving an opinion. Now I couldn't disagree more with some former comments. My dear friends: keep in mind that films illustrate stories rather than tell them. Karmma develops its theme, plot and premise in a perfect way. Besides, this film shows us a real story and talks about one important issue: Kidnapping. Watching this movie I can realize and feel how kidnapping's victims suffer. On the other hand, this film has a professional and skilled director. Karmma also joins one of the most talent crew of Colombia. This film is a good staple of how to make movies in an independent way. On the other hand, its production pattern was so successful that now it is being used by some countries in Latin America. Congratulations Colombians your Film Industry is getting better thanks to Karmma
