A surrealist short inspired by Keaton and Existentialism, a businessman goes to war and there, after witnessing human brutality firsthand, begins a series of agonizing transformations. A mirror left in an empty barley field makes him question his own existence; as the war escalates, the businessman becomes a clown, playing violin amid the carnage of nuclear destruction, finally, he is reborn as a baby on a quiet road.
